Retrospekt Celebrates Barbie’s 65th Birthday With New Film Cameras

Milwaukee-based analog pictures firm Retrospekt has teamed up with Mattel once more, restocking the favored Malibu Barbie Polaroid instant camera and releasing a brand-new line of Barbie-themed 35mm movie cameras.

Arriving simply in time for Barbie’s sixty fifth anniversary, the brand new Malibu Barbie FC-11 35mm Movie Digital camera is a fixed-focus digital camera with a built-in flash that, as Retrospekt places it, “makes capturing sun-soaked reminiscences a breeze.” The digital camera sports activities a bubblegum pink physique, palm tree graphics, and the enduring Barbie emblem.

Alongside the FC-11 digital camera is a brand new Malibu Barbie 35mm Digital camera Bag. This follows the type established by the prevailing Malibu Barbie Polaroid bag and includes a yellow and pink color-block type.

Retrospekt can be recognized for what it calls “Simple-use 35mm film cameras,” that are inexpensive movie cameras that appear to be disposable cameras. Nevertheless, not like disposable, single-use cameras, the “simple-use” 35mm cameras will be replenished with new movie after the included roll is spent. Retrospekt’s new Barbie and Ken Easy-use 35mm Movie Digital camera double pack comes with two cameras; every pre-loaded with 27 exposures of ISO 400 movie.
